Bid adieu to Govt. College of Engg., Salem

Raviism: its difficult to parting with some accustomed – routine things.

At last I have finished my project and successfully (!?) completed viva. My project has taught me many things but not technically .

June 23rd was our last day in college (project viva). As we were (see it become past in a matter of days) doing masters there was not much blah.. blah.. of parting. All were much worried about their future (job, marriage, family etc..) than going out of college. The next day was planned for outing.

After many round table discussions (when we were playing ass) Hogenakkal (in tamil ‘Kaveri’) was finalized for one day outing – just two hours from Salem by road. Where ever I go I will be the one who will initiate or arrange these kinds of things. We arranged one van, there was some 17 guys out of 25, I’m sure even during college days we might not have got this number. It was fun all the way from college to hogenakkal as we were discussing the reason behind everyone’s nicknames. Many has one, some got new ones.

Hogenakkal is a must see place in Tamilnadu. Going in ‘parisal’ in deep waters is a highlight here. I think it is the only place where there is no restriction to take liquor, you can see empty bottles everywhere – many comes for this sole purpose (even in our group). If you don’t eat the fresh fried fish served there for cheap rate, your coming to Hogenakkal is half wasted. If u want to enjoy alone with your group better go in week days like us.

Advertising blogs

Hi! Posted by Hello

Many bloggers take every possible step to get themselves noticed (including me) in the world of blogs.

Some (funny) ways to do it,

1. Print your URL in every casual wear of yours or print and distribute it to others.
2. Add as much as of other blog URLs in your blog (blogrolling) – an established and successful method.
((uraan bloga ooti valartha unn blog thaana valarum)).
3. Always keep a pen or pencil in your pocket, and scribble your URL wherever possible.
4. Say your URL instead of saying hello in phone.
5. Add a caption under your blog title like No.1 blog in India or crown among Indian blogs.
6. Visit atleast 10 blogs a day and leave a trail (your URL) there, by commenting.

But a true way to do it is to post interesting writings.

In the near future the following dialogue may become common

One: had your breakfast?
Two: haven’t you seen my blog?
One: !?!?!?

Ads

Now a days many ads are much interesting to watch. They invest their innovation and creativity to win our heart in barely 30 secs. I value creativity.

There are quite a few favorite ads for me

Timex watch Ad – the watch which automatically adjusts for months having 30 days.

Asian paints – where the girl wishes to wait for the small boy to get married, as he belongs to asian paints house.

Indica V2 – where a guy gets slaps for not telling truth except when he describes about indica

Greenply plywood – where a small singh boy gets his thoughts of previous incarnation and calls a old lady (his wife) by her name.

do you have any favourite one?

and here is an intersting online puzzle, find 13 articles and get out of the room if you can
