V'Day Special

Today’s blog is about tamilanin uyir moochu - cinema

There are many Tamil movies, which ran, packed hall for many days without a reason, the movie, which is a crown among these, is ....................(see last line)

Let me come to the matter, few days back I went to see a movie – KAADAL(love) on release day itself, as I put my faith behind the renowned director Shankar, who happened to be the producer of this film.

It was a wonderful film of love (or infatuation??) between a two-wheeler mechanic and a schoolgirl. I don’t want to write full story here. Go and see if you haven’t.

The strength of the story lies in its realistic approach. Definitely, here after young lovers will think twice before going out of their homes, as the movie clearly depicts the real life situations faced by the immature lovers. My cousin didn’t feel great while watching the movie but all changed after reading the postscript.

After watching the movie, I thought that it would run moderately and gain a good word of appreciation from media, as it has no entertaining aspects and leading actors. But still it is running packed hall in many theatres. (No let down for good movies!)

Now a small poem, which I enjoyed

One little unshed raindrop
May think itself too small,
Yet somewhere a thirsty flower
Await its fall.

One little word unspoken
May seem too small to say,
But somewhere for that one word
A heart may pray.

Chinna thambi ( Still a mystery to many directors)
