Nothing New

Oh, the project submission date is approaching fast, it’s decided not to spend time in books for a month. Already I was given plethora of time to finish my project but I have acted like hem and haw.

I think, if you know what the future holds for you then the present will not be as interesting as you enjoyed before – its regarding my job offer from infosys in September’04. And now the joining date was intimated to me. It is in August’05. There is some good two months gap between my master degree finishing date and infy joining date. So I can equip myself to cope up with the fresh undergraduate IT people as my background is non IT.

Recently I read a famous Tamil historical novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamoorthy. It was about the great chola king Rajaraja chola (who built the famous Tanjore big temple). I don’t know how I missed this book for this many days. A fantastic tome of more than 2000 pages that you can’t put down before finishing.

Only very few can match kalki in his description of events, he brings every thing live to you, which took place around 1000 years back. This one is available in English too but you can enjoy more if you have Tamil roots or know Tamil history.
