Accident

It’s been many days since I came here. It’s all due to my hectic Project work schedule!!!!.

Today I went to meet my friend who is in chennai to seek some technical help in project work. Some interesting?? thing happened while traveling in MTC bus from Tambaram to Saidapet (18A) in Chennai. I was seated in the middle of the bus. It all went well till we reached pallavaram, suddenly some smoke came from the front side of the bus, immediately the driver stopped the bus and the amount of smoke increased to a level at which we felt difficulty in breathing. So, everybody rushed towards the front and back exits to get outside. I was trapped in the middle, and I tried in vain to get outside by the window. At last I got out of the bus from the front exit. What I saw from outside is the little flame and heavy smoke coming beside drivers seat.

The interesting matter is here. When all the passengers were get out of the bus the conductor simply signed in all the tickets to let us board in other buses. Only the driver fetched (even he is not rushing) some water to quench the flame. Nobody complained anything and all were boarded some other buses (including me) to continue their business. I think this is some common incident in Chennai MTC buses.
