Five Cards
It’s become a habit; no I think its addiction, to play cards after lunch in college canteen. The play may take an hour or more. More than 6 of my classmates (guys who are doing project in college) would sit in a circle to play it in a guy’s room, which is beside the college. The interesting thing is that who gets 200 points first has to buy lemon juice for others –may take around 40 bucks. (Nice to have it in Salem’s climate – if it is from other guy’s pocket) :-) It’s simple to play where luck plays a major part. Every body will get five cards and each has to reduce their total to a minimum. If you got two cards with same nos or rummy then u can throw those in the middle and take a smaller card. After few rounds if you have points less than 10 and you are sure that nobody is less than your point then you can show. Then every body’s points will be written in paper, yours will be zero. If anybody has fewer points than yours when you show, then everybody’s points will be added and put for you (easy way to reach 200). It has happened many times where a guy will show A (1 point) thinking he is least but there will be another sitting pretty with a joker (0 point) very funny, isn’t it? :-)
After many days i bought a new book – To kill a mocking bird by Harper lee. Planned to read it after finishing project i.e after 20th.
Bye,
